Sky blue deepens into cobalt around an expressive peacock-feather design, with golden outlines and small accents of red. The lustre of mulberry silk satin brings depth to the colours, while hand painting and hand-rolled edges give this limited-edition square its distinctive finish. No two are identical, because no two are painted the same way twice.
At 105 × 105 cm it drapes beautifully over the shoulders — the piece that finishes a mother of the bride or wedding guest outfit that needs colour without a jacket. Beautiful with silver-grey, white or navy, it brings a sense of occasion to a favourite dress and colour to everyday cashmere.
At 16 momme this is the heaviest silk we carry. It falls with weight from the shoulder and holds colour deeply. Worn at the neck inside a coat it closes the gap a collar leaves open — silk is a natural insulator, and at this weight it adds warmth without bulk. The hem is rolled and stitched by hand.
