What To Expect

Orders are prepared and dispatched from the United Kingdom within 1–3 business days, Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays, using Royal Mail International Tracked.

Shipping to Switzerland and Liechtenstein is £9.50 on orders below £300. Shipping is complimentary on orders of £300 and above.

Royal Mail aims to deliver within 3–5 business days following dispatch. Delivery estimates may vary depending on destination, customs clearance, seasonal demand, and local delivery conditions.

Tracking details are emailed once your order has been dispatched, allowing you to follow your parcel throughout its journey.

Customs & Taxes

Switzerland and Liechtenstein are outside both the UK and EU customs territories.

Orders entering Switzerland and Liechtenstein may be subject to Swiss import VAT, customs duties, and carrier handling charges. These charges are determined by local authorities and delivery carriers, and are not included in the product price or shipping charge paid to Vshine Silk and Shine.

Swiss Post advises that import costs are generally charged when the tax amount reaches CHF 5 or more, which corresponds to goods including shipping from approximately CHF 63 at the standard 8.1% VAT rate.

Prices shown in CHF include a modest adjustment to reflect exchange rates and the costs of serving the Swiss market.

Customers may wish to consult Swiss customs guidance before placing an order.

Swiss Customer Courtesy Credit

As a gesture of appreciation to customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, we offer store credit equivalent to the Swiss VAT element shown on your customs receipt.

For orders of £300 and above, we also offer an additional £20 Swiss Customer Courtesy Credit toward a future order.

To request your credit, please email a copy of your customs receipt to customerservice@silkandshine.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number.

Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

We cover:

• Swiss VAT shown on the customs receipt
• An additional £20 courtesy credit for orders of £300 and above

We do not cover:

• Customs duties
• Carrier handling fees
• Other customs-related charges

Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days in accordance with our Returns Policy. Items must be unworn, unused, and returned in their original condition with tags attached.
