Ordering from the UK to Germany can feel less straightforward after Brexit. At Vshine Silk and Shine, we want our German customers to have clear, reliable information on delivery, import costs, and the courtesy codes available before placing an order.

Our aim is simple: clarity, tracked dispatch from the UK, and practical support at checkout.

Delivery to Germany

Orders to Germany are dispatched from the United Kingdom via Royal Mail International Tracked.

Dispatch within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays)
Typical delivery time: 3–5 business days from dispatch
Customs processing may occasionally extend delivery times
Final delivery in Germany is usually completed by Deutsche Post
Shipping to Germany: £9.95
Complimentary shipping on orders of £300 and above

Customs, VAT & Import Duties

As the UK is outside the EU customs area, orders sent to Germany may be subject to import charges on delivery.

These may include:

German import VAT
Customs duty (for goods above €150, depending on product type and classification)
A postal handling fee

The final amount is calculated by German customs during the import process.

To make ordering from Germany easier, we offer Germany Customer Courtesy Codes at checkout. These codes are designed to cover the likely import cost at checkout.

Examples

A silk scarf around £100 may attract German import VAT and a handling fee. GERMANY15 is designed to cover much of this likely cost.
An order around £300 may attract VAT, possible customs duty, and a handling fee. GERMANY60 is designed to reduce much of that expected impact at checkout.

Returns from Germany

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition with tags attached.
